ALC studied Philosophy at Jesus College, Cambridge, graduating with a BA (Hons) double first class. 

He is studying for an MPhil in Philosophy at Jesus College, Cambridge and he is currently applying for PhD study in Philosophy at Oxford and in the United States. His style is to teach students how to think. He has nearly 2 years tutoring experience in Oxbridge admission and essay competitions. 

He started tutoring for Oxbridge admission and essay competitions in 2019 and he has successfully sent students to Oxbridge, UCL, LSE, and St Andrews . 

ALC is passionate about Chinese culture and studied Politics and International Relations at Peking University . As part of this trip he worked with Lenovo at their HQ in Beijing to improve the English language capability of their voice recognition devices. 

In the UK, he acted as a student representative for the Yidan Prize Conference, organised by Dr Charles Chen Yidan, the co-founder of Tencent.
