Crystal is studying Physical Natural Sciences at Queens’ College, University of Cambridge.
Prior to successfully applying to Cambridge, she won numerous medals in competitions, including Gold in the British Mathematical Olympiad and the Avogadro Chemistry Exam and she came in the top 5% in Euclid Mathematics Contests.
She was awarded the Tencent Academic Scholarship for her academic performance at school. She has been volunteering helping students with their applications and A-levels for several years. She also interned as a chemist for Novartis last summer. Apart from academic performance, she plays the piano (ABRSM Piano Grade 8, ABRSM Theory Grade 5) and the violin, sketches and paints in her spare time. She is a motivated learner and is currently learning Guitar and German (A2).
